Stephanie Wheeler

After working within the criminal justice system for 25 years, where she gained vast experience of how criminal cases are run, Stephanie decided in 2017 to move to a different area of the law and took up employment with a criminal defence firm of solicitors.

While there she undertook all aspects of criminal defence work, from the less serious cases through to looking after clients who had been charged with murder.

In August 2024 Stephanie was given the opportunity to work for Hurleys Solicitors and, knowing their reputation, she decided to make the move.

She works with Kevin Bourne in the Crown Court department, dealing with the litigation of all our Crown Court cases.

Stephanie understands how stressful it is being charged with a criminal offence and will endeavour to make the process run as smoothly as it can, from the time the case starts in the Crown Court through to its conclusion.
